Grants programs now open for applications
Volunteer Week Small Grants Program
To acknowledge the efforts of volunteers in our community, the City of Victor Harbor is offering small grants to assist community groups, management committees, and organizing committees to celebrate and recognise the contribution of their volunteers.
Grants can be used to fund “thank you” celebrations, such as a special morning tea, lunch or a small gift. Celebrations will need to be held during National Volunteer Week, 9 – 15 May 2016. Two sizes of grants are available ($50 for groups with up to 15 volunteers, and $100 for larger groups).
Applications for the Volunteer Week Small Grants will close at 5pm on Friday, 3 March 2017.
Recreation and Sport Small Grants Scheme (Round 2)
The City of Victor Harbor provides a small grants program to assist recreation and sport groups to make a positive contribution to recreation and sport development in the district.
Grants will not normally be greater than $1,000 ($400 for individual grants), although each year one project may be funded for an amount which exceeds the above limit.
Non-profit organisations and individuals based within the City of Victor Harbor are now invited to submit applications for the second round of this grants program.
Applications for the Recreation and Sport Small Grants close at 5pm on 24 March 2017.
