New Handbook for Rural Landholders

Support for new rural land holders

New rural landholders and farmers in the City of Victor Harbor will be given an extra helping hand with the release of a Rural Living Handbook that provides helpful information and guidance for settling into life in the district.

Following a survey of rural landholders and local farmers in 2017 the City of Victor Harbor’s Agribusiness Reference Group identified a need to engage with new rural landholders in the district to support their transition to owning and living in the rural environment.

The handbook provides new and prospective rural landholders with advice and guidance on the various aspects of managing a rural property while providing references to support and assistance that is available to help new or new to the area property owners.

The handbook will be circulated to new rural landholders and made available at key locations for prospective and existing rural landholders.
