Do you know what your customers are saying about you online?  Are you unsure how to respond?

The emergence of online review sites and social platforms has handed consumers a range of tools to express their views on products & experiences. This has created opportunity for businesses to engage and market themselves direct with their consumers. Businesses can choose to use the internet as a powerful means of talking with their current and prospective customers or let their customers and competitors dictate the online conversation about their business.

The presenter will walk businesses through how to undertake an online audit, identify the extent of their online presence and how to increase and take control of their online presence whether or not businesses have a website.

Although you don’t need to be a computer expert, those attending will need to be aware this is intended as a PRACTICAL session. The group size will be kept small to facilitate as much one to one help as possible.

Participants are encouraged to take along their own laptop or tablet with wifi internet access available.

Social Media for Business Beginners

Wednesday 26 & Thursday 27 April – 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Are you intrigued about the various social media platforms and how it can market your product or service?

The revelation that is social media has transformed a number of businesses... when they have got it right! There is much talk about social media for business, but does it work? Is it right for me? How do I setup a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram? How do I effectively balance my workload around social media? These and other questions will be addressed during the two workshop sessions.

The presenter will walk businesses through the fundamentals of social media, with a particular focus on Facebook and how it interrelates to other social media and online platforms.

Bring your laptop, tablet and smart phone to access the venues complimentary WIFI allowing you to apply your learning as you go.

#PLEASE NOTE# The seminar will be delivered over 2 x 2hr twilight sessions on the 26 & 27 April commencing from 5:30pm. Participants may choose to purchase a meal from the venue.

Thursday 27 & Friday 28 April – 7:00am to 9:00am

Are you already using Facebook, Twitter or Instagram?  Are you wanting to get more from these platforms?

This session is designed for those businesses that are currently active in the social media space, but are seeking more information and advice about the powerful tools and techniques to increase their reach.

The presenter will talk about creative and innovative digital marketing activities and how that can be applied to micro and small businesses.

Bring your laptop, tablet and smart phone to access the venues complimentary WIFI allowing you to apply your learning as you go.

#PLEASE NOTE# The seminar will be delivered over 2 x 2hr breakfast sessions on the 27 & 28 April commencing from 7:00am. Participants may choose to purchase a breakfast from the venue.
