Southern Volunteering (SA)
Southern Volunteering will assist you in finding an organisation which best suits your skills and interests. Volunteering is about finding a challenging and interesting unpaid job that gets you involved in helping others in our community. It is about helping community agencies to provide a wide range of much needed services to people living in the Southern Fleurieu area. It is also about sharing and developing skills and making new friends as well as helping to make our community a better place to live. Anyone can volunteer - Employed, unemployed, Students, Anyone at all. Whether you have a special talent or skill, or just want to help others, there are many organisations that will value your contribution.

Volunteer Week Small Grants
To acknowledge the efforts of volunteers that support the Victor Harbor community, the City of Victor Harbor offers small grants to encourage, and assist community groups to celebrate and recognise the contribution of their volunteers.
Grants can be used to fund a range of “thankyou” celebrations, such as a special morning tea, lunch, or a small gift. Celebrations will need to be held during National Volunteer Week. Two sizes of grants are available - $50 for community groups with up to 15 volunteers, and $100 for larger groups.
Applications for the 2017 Grants Program have now closed.
Applicants will be notified of the status of their application.
